Upcoming Law Explorers Events
There are many exciting events coming up in the months of April and May for the Law Explorers and their friends. Starting in April, join us a Criminal Law Class at DU on April 19, a Mock Court Program with Justice Hobbs of the Colorado Supreme Court on April 24 and Law Day where you'll meet Justice Kourlis of the Colorado Supreme Court on May 3 and listen to her address on the Law Day topic "No Courts, No Justice, No Freedom."
This is an excellent opportunity to see how our justice systems works, speak to academic advisors about what it takes to get into law school and there will also be an opportunity to participate in the DBA Young Lawyers Division's annual Law Day essay and arts competition with a chance to win a $500 scholarship.
For more information about these events, please contact Anna Edgar or Jessica Black. Please click on the links above to register for these events.

Be a Career Speaker!
As part of the Exploring program we work with schools to send in community members to talk about their career choices. Would you be willing to speak to a middle school or high school class about your career? Our schools are looking for speakers on a wide variety of careers and jobs, so whether you have been to graduate school and beyond or have completed a technical school program, our teachers would like you to share with their students. See a presentation outline.
We will help you prepare a presentation but need to know who you are, so please fill out the Speaker Biography form.
