So, what is Lockheed Martin’s Engineering Explorers Post? We are an outreach program designed to give high school students a “behind the scenes” look at aerospace, engineering, and technology.
Students will hear from industry experts from different programs, such as Genesis, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, and Atlas.
They will also compete in three design competitions, as well as take a tour of the ULA Final Assembly Building. We will answer any questions you may have about colleges and internships, as well as take a tour of the University of Colorado Engineering School.
PLUS, they will become a member of a team consisting of five students who will design and build a project with an aerospace engineering related objective.
Previous Lockheed Martin Exploring Activities: - Direct involvement in products you have heard of! - Astronauts, NASA experts, Industry Experts Design Nights - Teaches You to Work Fast, Think Fast, Build Fast, and Compete with other teams - Have you ever made a “Homemade” Working Rover? You will here Group Nights - Final Project – Rockets, Payloads that go to the “Edge of Earth”, Solar Cars Engineering Lecture Series with projects
