Denver Police Department Open House - Wednesday, September 30. 2009, 7 pm

The Denver Police Explorers is a group of men and women ages 14-20 in the Denver area who want to learn about careers in law enforcement.

The Exploring Program allows young men and women to "explore" different careers. This helps students to make educated decisions about their futures before they invest years of education and training into a career field.

The Denver Police Explorer Scouts, POST 83 calls the DPD Academy home. This group of explorers meet at the academy every Wednesday evening. It is mentored by officers and deputies from the Denver Police and Sheriffs Departments.

To RSVP for the program, please contact Post Advisor Technician Joseph Malouff, 720.913.6875. Parents are encouraged to attend the Open House.
