The Aurora Police Explorers are uniformed civilian volunteers and a valuable asset to the Police Department. They participate in activities such as crowd control at community events, helping at the front desk of the police station, participating in a ride along program, learn leadership skills, compete in Law Enforcement competitions, opportunities for scholarship, be role players in Aurora Police Department training opportunities, get hands-on experience in the skills needed to become a police officer and many other exciting activities.  Participating youth must be between the ages of 14 - 20.
